Renewable Energy Fair (MREA), Custer, Wisconsin
June 15 -17, 2007 ADIRE volunteers participated in the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair and raised fund for ADIRE selling Indian vegetarian food at the fair.
Earth Week, Green Bay, Wisconsin
April 16-20, ADIRE participated in the Earth week celebration organised by University of Wisconsin, Green Bay.

ADIRE Annual Day, Jahangirabad, Orissa, India
The annual meeting of ADIRE board was held on Mar 13, 2007 at Jahangirabad, Orissa. A new program “Merit cum means scholarshp” to girl students of nearby village high schools was started. Five girls from Kalyanpur and Balbhadrapur high schools were given Rs. 1000/- along with a LED table lamp each for the year 2007. Students were nominated by their respective schools based on their merit and family living condition. This scholarship fund was donated by Mrs Pushpa from Minneapolis.

Opening of AdiVidya Mandir elementary school at Jahangirabad, Orissa
A small ementary school "AdiVidya Mandir" was opened at Jahangirabad, Orissa for 4-7 yr old kids with K.G and 1st grade. Fiftee kids have been sponsored and are currently enrolled. Kids spend the entire day (9:30a.m - 5:00p.m) in the school. A mid da meal and afternoon snack is provided to all students. The school has been affiliated with Sri Aurobindo Integral Education Education system and focus more on integrated development ofa child.
